Bakhaar is built for wholesalers and distributors — businesses that buy by the container and hold stock in more than one place. Keep your items, warehouses and shops in one system, receive a delivery with its freight and duty landed onto the goods, move stock to a branch, and sell knowing what the margin actually is. Cost is a weighted average, so a dearer delivery next month can never rewrite last month's profit. Everyone on the office wifi works on the same live stock. No internet needed. English or Somali.

How it works

  1. Install on the office computerUnzip the folder and double-click Start Bakhaar. It opens in your browser and puts a shortcut on the desktop. Nothing to install — everyone else in the office just needs a browser.
  2. Enter your items and locationsEach item with its code, barcode, unit and reorder level. Every warehouse and shop is a location, and stock is held where it actually sits.
  3. Receive a delivery, land the freightFreight and duty are spread across the lines by value — a carton of razor blades does not carry the same freight as a carton of rice. The average cost moves, and your stock value stays true.
  4. Transfer to branches, sell, check the figuresStock on the road cannot be counted at either end until it arrives. Every sale freezes its own cost when it is issued, so profit never changes behind your back.
What you need: a Windows PC, and that is all. Nothing to install — the download already has everything in it. Everyone else in the office just needs a browser.
